After a bit of roller coaster season last year starting with several losses then finishing strongly at the end, it is always a little harder predicting these results. I think with the new signings that we have acquired this year (and return of some old faces), the strength of the side has certainly been bolstered compared with what it was last year. Stiff competition is likely to come from Upminster 2 who got demoted and will be looking to go straight back up and are probably favourites and Barking 2 who can produce strong upper boards when they turn out. Wanstead 3 and Thurrock 2 are my favourites for the lower places but this division is really difficult to call and the team that goes down will be the one that cannot get the strong players registered out on a regular basis. Brentwood I think will finish in 2nd behind a good Upminster outfit.
