Last season was the first time Brentwood had played in the top division of any league for almost ten years. Considering this, we had a great cup run getting to the final and losing to Stour Valley, who won the league but lost in the cup final to Writtle. Stour Valley and Writtle are favourites once again due to the significant grade advantage they have over the other teams. Chelmsford also have a good team which had a rocky year last year and would also fancy their chances of winning. Out of the top teams, we performed well though our performance against the middle band of teams was pretty poor. If we pull our socks up and play well we could well get into the top 4 places. Braintree B have decided to come up this year replacing Clacton and are my favourites for the drop.
